Kamloops Senior Rattlers becoming community cornerstone

After a long absence from senior C men’s lacrosse community, the Kamloops Rattlers are now entering into their 8th season within the Thompson Okanagan Senior Lacrosse League (TOSLL – formally known as the Okanogan Extreme Lacrosse League OXLL). After becoming league champions in just their 2nd season back on the floor, the Rattlers have somewhat struggled both with numbers and performance. The 2013 season held great promise with the Rattlers only losing twice during the regular season, and with only a three team league in 2013 that earned them an automatic berth in the finals for a chance to recapture the Shaw Cup. Unfortunately the Rattlers couldn't pull it off losing in two games to the defending Shaw Cup champions the Kelowna Raiders. 2014 saw the team continue to struggle thru the regular season and consequently the team chose to bow out of the 2014 playoffs. 

 

With a few new faces emerging already in 2015 and the core group of players returning for another season, the Rattlers hope to get back on track for the 2015 quest for the Shaw Cup.
